Monday Menu: Cookie Game Changer
And we are back!
Chocolate chip cookies were the first thing I ever baked, when I was about nine. So, I feel like over the years, I’ve perfected them – tweaking sugar ratios, adding dark chocolate chips, playing with different sizes. This week, prompted by an email from King Arthur Baking, I took my cookie game up to 11.
Have A Spooky Halloween

I had the spookiest drive into Boulder this morning. A thick layer of fog sat over the city, yet the Flatirons and above were clear. And the fog could be seen most of my very sunny drive. It was like a Stephen King novel came to life on Halloween.
Even spookier? When I crossed the overpass into Boulder, is was as sunny there as my drive had been. Where’d the fog go?

Work Wednesday: No Work, Only Fun
I’m off for a week of much-needed relaxation and rejuvenation.
Monday Menu: When Recipes Fail
I’m never afraid to try something new. But this is my second fail trying to make air fryer “donuts.” This version was to be Apple Fritters.
I checked out multiple recipes, and they were all basically the same. And made promises I just don’t think they could keep.
