This is not what it looks like. I did not, in a fit of pique, obliterate my little town of Duxbridge.

Usually, this board is filled with note cards containing plot lines, character names, and random thoughts, a map of Duxbridge, and post-it notes with names and sudden inspirations.
But my office is now occupied by a very, very rambunctious teenager. And he has decided that pushpins are his mischievousness of choice at night while we all sleep.
He started by pulling one, maybe two, out every once in a while. Then, it became a nightly thing, and then it escalated to pulling down half the items on the board each night.
Besides being annoying, it was becoming dangerous. The more he pulled off, the harder it was becoming for me to find them all. I didn’t know when I, or someone else, would step on an errant pushpin or if Reggie would actually swallow one.
Anyway, I ordered some cute flat thumbtacks and reordered the board. With luck, Reggie will turn his attention to other trouble at midnight.
