Back from a very nice vacation that included an amazing whale watch trip. Did a bit of research in the little town that I based Duxbridge on, including some photos for the book cover.
Now it’s time to get back to writing. Came home with quite a few ideas and locales for the later chapters.

There will be no Furry Friday post today because I awoke to my entire plant collection swept off my cupboard. Luckily nothing broke, but everything needed to be replanted.
I’m assuming a moth or fly was involved.

For this latest Duxbridge novel, I’m working in an entirely different way. Usually, after I know where a book is headed, meaning I have the first and last chapters either written or outlined, I write a chapter at a time.
Crazy busy here and running to keep up. Something spooked Nora outside and I didn’t have time to problem solve it, so she’s inside until I have to leave late afternoon.
Hopefully, by that time, whatever was out there will be gone.
Jasper is happy to babysit until then.
