While I was away, we went on a location hunt in the real town that is the inspiration for Duxbridge. Found a nice, spooky basement which was conveniently located in the house I’m also using as a location.
Also toyed with and almost settled on the main mystery in the next Duxbridge Mysteries novel. I have to run it past my favorite police detective. That’s always fun. I’m sure he smashes his head to his desk once he realizes I take all his good insight and then…ignore it. LOL
