Work Wednesday: Really, It’s Research

Pussy willow buds against a wood fence
The pussy willows popped this week, and the lilacs are not far behind

I get to have some interesting conversations. This week’s:

me: can you dumb down money laundering for me?

legal eagle: ummm, sure. I know you’re tired of your day job, but do you think going straight to money laundering is really the best option?

me:

him:

him: okay, I’ll write something up for you

Stone path in garden bed

That solved this week’s writing conundrum, so at least a few thousand words were written.

But good weather meant I had to get out and do something in the garden. So, I trimmed the ornamental grasses and finished replacing the paving stones with flagstone.

When I removed the grass in my front yard, and made a bee/bird/butterfly haven, I wanted flagstones, but it was out of my budget at the time. This past fall, I was able to recycle some old flagstones and have slowly been switching them out. Glad that is now complete and off my to-do list.

What good stuff did you accomplish this week?
