Work Wednesday: Underestimating the Task

Second week of tackling the prep for the painters next week. The front door is painted and looks lovely. Although with the current trim colors (green and purple), the teal door looks like I might be living in a circus performer’s home. Or I had a stroke.

Regardless, by the time the new colors arrive, it will all make sense to the neighbors.

One of the items I needed to prep is the window boxes. There are two long boxes that, besides adding fresh soil and flowers each spring, I’ve done nothing with them since I moved in nine years ago. They need to be emptied so the painters can paint them.

I clearly underestimated the amount of work it would take to disassemble them. Barely made a dent today.

A long way to go….

I feel the same way about the book edit right now. There is a long way to go and a lot to do.
