Work Wednedsay: Bolding Colby

One of the issues I had with the first read through of the completed manuscript was Colby. He felt like he was a shadow of himself. And the trouble started in Act One.

As with TJ, I went back and listened to the first two books to revisit who I created. Once I felt like he was alive in my imagination again, I began to bold his character from the first moment he arrived home from work in Chapter Two.

I will do the same as he reappears mid-story. Ensure he is as bold and badass as he was in the first book.

Skeleton and two ghosts lit up at night in yard

When I lit the decorations up this week, I was the most popular house with the five and under crowd in my neighborhood. Worth the effort.
