Monday Menu: Sausage and Grapes
This recipe was featured in TJ Wilde Mysteries: Underway, and I realized that because of the travel component in Full Sail, there will be no companion recipes. Too much going on for TJ to bother with cooking.

When I went to look for this recipe to share, I forgot this fun tidbit:
“It was so unusual, my most reliable recipe testers politely declined my dinner invite. Totally understandable. But I will tell you I was pleasantly surprised how well this turned out. If you like pork and apples, this has a similar flavor palate. It was also quick and easy to prepare. I’m glad I decided to experiment.”
Sunday Fun: Zander’s Quilt

Beloved cats have come and gone in my life. Love each and every one of them. But for some reason, I’ve been missing Zander a lot lately. Just something about that boy.
A surprise arrived in the mail for me – a blog friend, QuiltingFool – had taken a photo of my big orange boy and made a quilt square. Right now he’s hanging next to Bixby until I can get him framed.
Furry Friday: Cat Cafe
A Cat Cafe opened nearby and a few of us went to give them support. Also, to pet kittehs. They specialize in older cats, but there were still a few young ones there, too.
This beauty found her forever home today, so that was fun. Although she had second thoughts when she saw the crate. I thought we were going to have a runner!
This guy stole my heart immediately. Then went to take a nap for the rest of our visit.
Work Wednesday: Dreams and Creativity
I went to bed the other night, knowing how the last two chapters of FULL SAIL were going to play out, or so I thought. When I woke up, everything had changed.
This line was running through my head.:
I thought it would be fun to take Mulholland Drive back to the hotel. Instead, it almost killed me.
I was toying with some type of scenic drive on Mulholland Drive. I mean, would my gal TJ really be driving a sporty Porsche and not take the iconic drive? I think not. And wouldn’t it be much more thrilling if that drive became a life-or-death endeavor?
And that’s how we got here…or will once I map out the details. Don’t worry, I’ll put the pedal to the metal… (I’ll see myself out now).
