Planning on a quiet Thanksgiving week, filled with writing if I can.

I love fall. We have very few reds here, unlike the East Coast, but the Aspens do their best to help us forget that. I’m not complaining, My wildflower front yard has some spectacular fall into winter colors that hang out until spring.
This week went well. I’m traveling again, so I made an effort to do some substantial writing over the weekend before I left. Where I felt like Act One needed all the main characters fleshed out more, Act Two is more about storytelling transitions.
The squirrels made short work of my jack-o-lantern over the weekend. I appreciate that they waited until the holiday was over to snack.
Got some good rewrites done this week. And very happy with how Act One of FULL SAIL is shaping up. It feels tight. TJ and Colby are once again full-fledged humans, Mimi is holding her own, and the secondary characters are well fleshed out.
One of the issues I had with the first read through of the completed manuscript was Colby. He felt like he was a shadow of himself. And the trouble started in Act One.
