Work Wednesday: Stumbling Blocks

sandy beach

For the past week or so, I’ve struggled to write. This always distresses me, even though I understand the process. Around this point in every book, I stall.

I’m on my fifth book, so I recognize it for what it is. This is the point where the story pivots and that pivot is so important, I have to take a pause. How and where the story goes and at what speed must be solid before I can move forward.

And still, the self doubt creeps in…even though I know, I KNOW that is is part of the process.

How do you keep moving when you stall out?
