Seven years. Seven years is how long it took me to get this forsythia to look like this. When I first bought the house, I didn’t even realize it was a forsythia. It was severely overgrown and the first spring had very few if any blooms on it.

And yesterday, a complete surprise as the day warmed.

We also own our electric utilities here, so we have better rates than surrounding communities, making it more cost-effective than gas in many cases.

This past week, I found out they have an induction cooktop lending program. For three weeks, you can test out a Duxtop Induction Cooktop, along with pans that work with induction. **
