Living the life
Jasper came to live with us four years ago. He was six and we had a lot of work to do bring him back to health. Though his first visit with our vet proved that besides being seriously underweight, he was generally healthy.
He has a birth defect, I am assuming it is swimmer puppy syndrome, where a pup’s legs are unusually weak, cause really unknown. His case was not that severe, it’s only his back legs, and it really does seem he got early therapy for it. While he has a funny gait, nothing stops him, nor does age seem to make his symptoms worse. He and Reggie make quite the cute pair.
He is fun, protective, loves everyone, and full of mischief. Here he is AFTER he managed to somehow squeeze himself through the duck opening and eat all of Nora’s food.
