Caturday: Where’s My Dinner

I’m aware I skipped over Furry Friday. I was hoping to get ReinDane photos, but never got around to it.

To make up for it:

It was 7:01 when I looked up from my computer to see this. Dinner was late. One minute late. This, of course, was unacceptable.

Holiday recipes WILL be up later today.

Holiday Cooking: Let’s Start with Lasagna And Finish with the Cookie Tray

Finished lasagna about to go into the oven

Holiday cooking!

I just finished up gift lasagnas and the one for the Christmas Eve party. Why, no matter how I cut back, do I always end up with enough noodles for another lasagna? Do they multiply in the pan of water? I mean, I know how many each lasagna holds and then I make a few extra to make up for any that break beyond usability. And still…

The comments on this video are epic. I am one of the “never heard this before, thanks YT for the algorithm that brought this gift.”

And as long as we are in camp mode, here’s the campiest of holiday songs that I love:

Caturday: Proud Kitteh

He is so proud that he has learned to jump. He has practiced and practiced. Something most cats could just do, he’s had to work hard to perfect.

The cats spend time outside while I do chores on these chilly mornings. Then we all go inside for breakfast.

I keep an eye on him, I’m always worried about his spine. But I know he spends his nights working out his routines, LOL

To those who are new to Reggie’s world, he was born with Manx syndrome, unable to walk. His amazing foster mom got him up and mobile before he came to live with us. He hops like a bunny and his back legs work in unison. Learning to jump – he’s done it in increments over the last year and a half – takes a lot of skill and practice from him. And he is super proud of himself! As he should be.

Here’s some video of his gait:
